Annette and Jerry met through a mutual friend, Jeff, at a hangout at his place. The spark was immediate, and they became fast friends, Jerry "knew from the moment he met her that he wanted to be with her". After a month and a half, Jerry asked Annette to date.
Two and a half years later, Annette was preparing to graduate from CSUCI with a degree in Sociology. Jerry knew this was an important moment in her life, and he wanted to make it extra special. He came to George Thompson Diamond Company in Camarillo, and Sue helped him pick out the perfect engagement ring for Annette.
As local foodies, they know where to get the best of everything. Jerry planned a graduation party for Annette at Made West Brewing Company. All her family was there, and a good time was being had by all. After the cake was cut, Annette stood up in front of everyone to thank them for all their support.
Jerry thought "I'm gonna take my shot", got up in front of everyone, told them how much Annette means to him, got down on one knee, and asked, "Will You Marry Me?" She tried to say YES!, but was so choked by tears she was speechless. She could only nod as he slipped the ring on her finger, sealing the next chapter of their life together.
On the next Monday, they came in to get the ring sized and she "loves the ring, it's perfect". From here on out, they "Can't wait to spend the rest of their journey together".
Congratulation! Thank you, Annette and Jerry, for letting us be a part of this memorable moment.
