Bringing Together 3 Lives In 1 Marriage, Greta And David

A year to the day after moving in together, Greta and David had their wedding, on a bluff overlooking his childhood surf spot.

After coming into The George Thompson Diamond Co. and working with Misty, Greta says "Misty was incredibly sweet and took extra special care of us". Her ring is The Sultiana with a round brilliant diamond of excellent color.

"I was so excited to come here because they had exactly what I wanted, and the layaway made sense for us because we could plan ahead for the wedding". She often gets compliments from people when they are out. People look down and comment on how pretty her wedding ring is. Greta proudly told us, "It is a very nice experience."

They were married September 30th of last year, bringing together both their lives. Greta and David planned the blushed pink wedding to overlook Rincon in Carpenteria where he surfed as a kid. She included their Terrier Mix, Buddy. When Greta walked down the aisle to a harpist playing "All of Me" by John Legend, Buddy became the main attraction when he walked down the aisle too! He sat in the front row and made sure that everything received his approval. They exchanged very personal vows that combined the classical with their own personal sentiments. After the vow ceremony, David formally adopted Buddy. They had an official pronouncement and he signed a document stating that Buddy is now both Greta and David's pet.

After the ceremony, they had a beach themed reception for all 70 of their guests. Their seafoam green cake was topped by a starfish, and the whole reception was seaglass colored and everyone had a great time. Her friends are still talking about how much fun it was whenever they get together.

We get the pleasure of seeing Greta every 6 months for her ring warranty check and Misty enjoys being a part of their life, forever.

Thank you, Greta and David, for letting us be a part of your wonderful union.
