Love On Top Of Griffith Park Observatory, Lauren & Jonathan

Jonathan Moies arranged for Lauren Tyler’s friends to take a girls time trip to Griffith Park Observatory, where he secretly planned to propose to her. While there, he hid below a stairway where she was going. She saw him and she said, “What are you doing here?” He then led her over to a prearranged setting near-by, where a photographer was hidden in the bushes, got down on his knee, and told her how much he loved her and asked her to marry him. She revealed that she was kind of confused, but answered, “Of course, I will.

Lauren Tyler was one of our “Diamond in the Rough Scholarship Winners” at Simi High School in 2008.

After this, she worked at the Island Restaurant with 2 of Jonathan’s friends. When they went up to visit him at UCSB, where he later graduated with a degree in Economics, they met.

Lauren went on to graduate from CSUCI with a degree in Political Science.

Lauren’s parents, Jeff and Melanie Tyler, who had previously brought their other daughter’s, now husband, brought Jonathan to George Thompson Diamond Co. to choose the engagement ring.

They plan to get married on Sept. 14, 2019 at Klentner Ranch in Carpentaria. Afterwards, they are planning an exotic Honeymoon to Bora-Bora.

Congratulation! Thank you, Lauren & Jonathan, for letting us be a part of this memorable moment.
